Anyone must pay it forward. It is familiar among those who want to do little acts because some did it to them first. This is good without the burden of gratitude. Doing the little acts will surely make those people proud of you. You will feel the same to yourself after doing it.

A hug can do a lot especially when done with care and love. Hugs might be awkward for others, well, it really depends on the kind of relationship that both of you have. Just make sure they are comfortable for doing it. They must not be forced or compelled to do something they do not want.

Inviting them to an event that you know they would enjoy will definitely work. Tell them why you are doing it so they will know your purpose. It can also touch their hearts thinking that you exerted your effort for them. Encourage them to try those things that they want to try but have not yet because of fear.

Any simple gifts would work as well. Little acts like mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, cleaning the house or organizing a closet will do. This is a sweet act that touches their hearts and soul. Anything that is simple will do for as long as you find it helpful for them. Compliment them as well of their strengths if possible.

Show your gratitude as well to the people who always give you problems and challenges. Listen to their words and set aside any plan of giving your rebuttals right away. Listen first then tell him or her what you like to say. After everything when it is already settled, you can thank them for all the challenges.

If the person also introduces you to new ways of how things should be taken, thank them even when you it is not fully agreeable. Say how much you admire them for fighting what they believe in and then explain the parts that you think are wrong. Resist the urge of telling them they are totally wrong because it will hurt them.

Always say thank you for the encouragement they are giving to you. This is helpful when they challenge you most of the time. Let them know how it paid off and grateful you are for being your scrutineer. It will also help them to see all things in a different view.

All the given tips are some of those that you can consider when thanking that someone who did a lot of great things in your life. Express your gratitude by doing good. It really depends on the circumstances. Even the simplest action can touch a heart of someone.
