Regardless of the industry you might be in or that you are trying to get into, business to business blog writing is about the people who are reading the blog. Never forget that you are writing an article for another human being to read. That is the trick to b2b creative blog writing and makes the difference between a worthless article and something that will stay with the reader for a long time.

Focus on that person that is reading your work. Who are they? What do they do? Are they in the same industry? Work out whether you need to show your personality in the article or whether it needs to feel more detached and professional sounding. Trends tend to change between these two options so you need to know what is expected of you.

Finding your inspiration is a crucial step in the writer's process. Just because you are writing a business to business blog, doesn't mean your inspiration has to come from the business. It can come from just about anywhere. Whether it is from riding a train and looking out of the window, reading other people's blogs or talking to people, any inspiration is worthwhile.

Reading is essential for all good writers and if you have ever read the work of a writer who doesn't read, you know it straight away. Not only does it improve vocabulary, grammar and spelling, but it also helps writers to hone their own styles. You will be learning about writing without even realising it. So make sure what you are reading is good quality.

It is vital that you research the competition and see what they are doing in their blog. This makes good business sense but is just as important even if your blog is just a hobby. It will teach you what other people are interested in reading about and it will teach you what other people in the same industry are interested in writing about.

As with everything in life, practise will make all the difference to your work. After you have written your article, step away from the computer and try to get some distance from it. When you come back you will be able to read your article with fresh eyes and see any areas that aren't working. This is also essential for proofreading.

Get out of the house and get some fresh air. See new things and go to new places. Aside from allowing you to relax, this is also a great way to find new inspiration for other articles. Stepping out of your routine and seeing new places gets your brain ticking over and might help you get past any mental blocks are writing blocks that you are facing.

Some people who really struggle with their writing believe that this means that they are not meant to be writers or that they are not good writers. Many of the best authors throughout history have struggled with their work, so finding it easy does not mean that you are naturally talented. It takes talent and hard work to make good writing, regardless of how easy or hard it is.
